High school sports can shape lives, but what happens beyond the game? This one-of-a-kind program was designed to support the whole athlete: physically, mentally, and emotionally. Whether you're a coach, parent, or student-athlete, Beyond the Game helps your team develop strength that lasts long after the scoreboard clears.
Beyond the Game bridges the gap between performance and well-being. Through a two-part seasonal program, we guide teams in cultivating a healthy culture — rooted in communication, accountability, and resilience.
Our process begins with listening — understanding your current team dynamics, challenges, and opportunities. Then we build a customized experience to transform your team culture from the inside out.
Each session wraps with take-home debriefs to empower family conversations and keep athletes connected to a trusted adult, both on and off the field.
We don’t bring a one-size-fits-all playbook. Every team is unique, and our strength is in co-creating a culture where:
Our approach blends sports psychology, lived experience, and leadership coaching, all grounded in mental health and resilience-building.
Whether you’re a coach, parent, or school admin — we’d love to connect.
State of Mind is NW Resiliency Project’s peer-led mental health initiative designed specifically for high school students. Built on the belief that youth are uniquely positioned to support one another, this program creates safe spaces where students can openly discuss challenges, share experiences, and develop resilience — together.
State of Mind trains and equips student leaders to serve as peer supporters — not therapists, but trusted allies who are trained to listen, offer empathy, and help classmates navigate life’s tough moments. These groups meet regularly and are supported by a mental health professional and school staff member to ensure safety and guidance.
Our goal is simple: foster a school culture where no student feels alone.
Research shows that young people often turn to each other first when struggling with stress, anxiety, or depression. State of Mind harnesses that instinct and turns it into a structured, safe, and supportive system.
According to Mental Health America, peer wellness programs:
State of Mind doesn’t replace professional mental health care, it complements it. By building peer-led systems of trust and support, we strengthen a school’s overall mental wellness ecosystem.

This evidence-based program is designed to equip individuals with the skills to identify warning signs of suicide, engage in supportive conversations, and connect those at risk with appropriate resources.
QPR stands for:
Much like CPR is for physical health emergencies, QPR is a critical intervention for mental health crises, aiming to prevent suicide through early recognition and response.
This training is ideal for:
No prior mental health training is required—just a commitment to making a difference.
