About NW Resiliency Project

Our Mission

 At NW Resiliency Project, our mission is to equip students, athletes, coaches, and families with the mental health tools, support systems, and resources they need to build lasting resilience. We believe mental well-being is foundational, not optional, and should be prioritized at every stage of life.

Through education, peer connection, and community-based programming, we are committed to breaking down the barriers that prevent individuals from accessing help. From the locker room to the classroom to the dinner table, we meet people where they are, before crisis, and walk with them toward strength, healing, and hope.

Our Vision

We envision a world where mental health is met with empathy, understanding, and action, where no one suffers in silence, and every student, athlete, and community member has access to the tools and support they need to thrive.

Our goal is to build stigma-free environments where mental health is part of everyday conversation, resilience is intentionally cultivated, and young people grow up knowing that their struggles are seen, their voices matter, and their lives have lasting value.

We build trust-based ecosystems—within schools, sports programs, and communities—where young people feel seen, heard, and supported before crisis ever begins.

Advocacy
We work to dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health by elevating lived experience, driving policy change, and leading courageous conversations that normalize seeking help.

Empowerment
We equip parents, educators, coaches, and student leaders with practical tools and training to foster resilience, lead with empathy, and create safe spaces for youth to thrive.

Whole-Person Wellness
We promote a balanced approach to well-being that honors the mental, emotional, academic, and athletic needs of each individual—recognizing that lasting success begins within.

NW Resiliency Project is growing and we’re just getting started. What began as a grassroots response to unimaginable loss has become a powerful force for mental health advocacy, youth resilience, and community-driven change.
