Julie England is a passionate advocate for mental well-being, resilience, and community support. Born and raised in the picturesque landscapes of Oregon, Julie's journey has been marked by a deep commitment to empowering individuals to overcome life's challenges.
Julie's own transformative experience began during her high school years at Parkrose High School. Here, she was introduced to a unique support program that brought together students from diverse backgrounds, all facing their own adversities. Whether it was homelessness, the pursuit of sobriety, or the relentless pressure to excel academically and athletically, this program served as a lifeline for students navigating the turbulent waters of adolescence. It was within these formative years that Julie discovered her passion for fostering resilience, a passion that would shape her career and drive her advocacy efforts.
After graduating, Julie embarked on her professional journey, starting in the field of drug and alcohol counseling. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in psychology, she offered invaluable support to individuals struggling with addiction, further solidifying her commitment to mental health and well-being.
Driven by her insatiable desire to create positive change, Julie pursued her Master of Business Administration (MBA) and entered the world of business. While she ventured into various industries, her dedication to mental health and the provision of mental health services remained unwavering.
Julie's devotion extends to her own family, where she is a loving mother to two sons, both of whom attend school in the Lake Oswego district and actively participate in sports, including football and lacrosse.
The recent losses in the Lakeridge football community have profoundly impacted Julie's children, serving as a catalyst for her involvement in the creation of the NW Resiliency Project.
As President of NW Resiliency Project, Julie England leads with compassion, experience, and an unwavering commitment to fostering resilient communities. She believes in the power of collective action, education, and support to create a world where individuals of all ages can navigate life's challenges with strength and resilience. Julie's leadership exemplifies the core values of NW Resiliency Project and its dedication to building a brighter, more resilient future for all.

Corrin Coker comes to the project with a great passion for youth and her community having grown up in West Linn & Lake Oswego since the age of 3. She describes her intimate knowledge of what it's like to be a youth within the area as a beautiful two sided coin, with equal opportunities as there are challenges.
Corrin’s career focus has primarily been in healthcare, empowering Practitioners across the Country to overcome challenges they faced in their individual practice settings to maximize profitability and create systems that worked for their own unique specialty cutting down red tape that made it difficult for some to receive the care they needed. She sees opportunities to utilize her skill sets in navigating the healthcare & governnment systems to help find resources and create opportunities to tap into local and national services on a small community based level to give access to those who need it most. Where there are no systems in place, she has a unique ability to find ways to create them.
Her family life is as involved as they come within her community. She has three boys and three bonus kiddos with her partner, all involved in sports and activities from grade school through high school. As the matriarch of this modern day Brady Bunch, she prides herself on finding a balance for each of them to foster both active but balanced and mindful participation in multiple facets of the community. She starts her mantra of leadership through action and example within her own home first before expanding it into her community.
Corrin brings personal experience with overcoming personal trauma and the ability to push into resilience through healing. Her journey through the healthcare system and mental health system(s) was insightful and she is honored to take what she learned and help others as they find themselves in need of support and encouragement through all aspects of embracing resiliency as a human trait.
For Corrin, NW Resiliency Project is an opportunity to take a lifetime of challenge and perseverance to be and do better and light a lamp that will help shine on a path to create less resistance and continue to break down the stigma that is associated with embracing mental health and balance in our everyday lives regardless of where we have come from or where we are going.
